Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commission

I was commissioned through a Comic Book Commission website I use to create this image of the 1980's icons the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This was a fun project to draw because I love the characters, each one has a unique attitude and look and bringing that out in a black and white pinup was a challenge.

You can see at the bottom I do thumbnails for clients to approve and then move into a graphite stage and then the full inks.

If you are interested in commission work you can go to

The Last Event / Pencil Roughs

I have been hired to do 6 pages of a book called The Last Event from a small publishing house in New York and I couldn't be more excited. I have almost finished the pencil roughs for the 6 pages and can't wait to start the inks on the project! I have included the roughs and character sketches for the project.

BEAU First Official Comic Book

The first official comic book  came out from BEAU this week.

I am so very excited about this... This is the first comic book I ever produced and it turned out brilliantly!

I built the comic under a new title of DEAN Comics and I am Editor in chief (of course). I have never put together a comic book and was so excited to get it completed!

The art comes from the "12 x12 A Comic Book Competition" that we put on last year in coop fashion with the Salt Lake Comic Con. It has great art from the public and from the students at BEAU.

If you would like to purchase one please let me know, they are only a dollar and all proceeds go to an event to help the students.

I'm an editor!

White Shepard MMA

I was hired by a local MMA Gym and Clothing Retailer to design 2 mascots for their stores and for a shirt...

White Shepard is the name of the dojo and the mascot is "the head of a White german Shepard on the body of an MMA fighter, in a Brazilian Gi, with MMA gloves, and standing in the stance of one of the founders of Brazilian Ju-Jitsu Helio Gracie".... that was the description I was given.

This is the end result

The second mascot is for a clothing line they produce and they wanted " A skull with a hoodie, with a body of an MMA fighter and with MMA gloves on... but only the upper torso"

This is the end result.....

They loved them both and so they will have images printed on all of their merchandise.
